Privacy and analytics

Your browser, your experiments

Roytech runs in your browser and does not require an account. Your notes, scenario names, saved presets, and imported files are not sent to our analytics service.

Optional usage and reliability measurements

When configured, Roytech uses Microsoft Azure Application Insights to measure page loads, which experiments are started and explored, export and support-link clicks, completed proof exercises, and browser errors. Page-load timings help us identify slow experiences.

Reports may include the page path, simulation or exercise identifier, app release, browser and device information, and sanitized error locations. Query strings, URL fragments, referrers, form values, raw error messages, and session recordings are excluded.

Analytics does not use cookies or store persistent visitor identifiers. Temporary identifiers can associate activity within one page load; this does not reliably identify returning people or visits across pages. As with any network request, Microsoft's service receives network information such as your IP address.

Your choice

Roytech honors Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can also turn analytics off for this browser below. This preference is saved locally; it does not remove measurements already sent.

JavaScript is needed to display and change the analytics setting. No browser analytics runs when JavaScript is disabled.
